Haystack (Webcomic)
A coming-of-age mystery/horror set in 2006. Four kids in a washed out suburbia befriend a ghost living in an abandoned arcade. They must grapple with grief, oppression, and their own limitations in order to find out what happened to Haystack.

Haystack is a ghost who haunts an arcade after her death. She is an outgoing prankster who prioritizes her own fun over most other things in her life. As a ghost, she often loses track of time without external forces keeping her in check.
Johanna Banes
Age: 16 | Pronouns: She/They
Johanna is laid-back and confident, with a somewhat serious demeanor. However, she is also quick to smile and joke with friends. She lives with her brother Jean and is a star water polo player at her highschool, and hopes to join a professional team.
Sherman Montgomery
Age: 20 | Pronouns: He/She/They
Sherman is outgoing and intelligent, and does his best to avoid being mean, even playfully. He is an engineering student at the local city college, and lives with his parents and younger siblings.
Dakota Montoya
Age: 16 | Pronouns: He/They
Dakota is quiet, with a sarcastic, deadpan sense of humor. When with people they trust, they become more outgoing, cracking jokes and being extremely conversational. Their greatest wish is to move away from home and find independence elsewhere.
Anette Davis
Age: 18 | Pronouns: She/Her
Anette is outgoing, quick-witted, and down-to-earth. She is a realist who tries to find the good in bad situations, but is also the first to point out over-optimism. She wishes to finish school and move to the city in order to pursue a degree in medicine.
